Principales activités
Improving knowledge of the presence, distribution and abundance of protected marine species in the Republic of Congo through 125 sea trips and the creation of a permanent network of 24 coastal observers along the Congolese coastline;
Organising a workshop bringing together national and international stakeholders (IWC, government agencies, NGOs, etc.) to raise awareness among national decision-makers about the situation of Congo’s iconic marine species;
Freeing 600 sea turtles accidentally caught in artisanal fishing nets.
