History

Created in 1995, Nature Tropicale ONG is a non-profit association, member of the IUCN. In addition to the partnership agreement, it has signed a framework agreement with the Government of Benin. Its mission is to promote the conservation and rational use of biodiversity, through education and awareness-raising among various stakeholders. Poor environmental governance, non-enforcement of environmental laws and low level of awareness among stakeholders are the origins of the creation of Nature Tropicale NGO.
