Who are we?

A Rocha Ghana is a committed and recognised environmental conservation organisation in Ghana. Established in 1999, it has been a part of the International Network of A Rocha since 2003 and is a member of IUCN. A Rocha Ghana works to inspire and empower people for natural resource management through livelihood, advocacy, and interfaith dialogue that hinges on research and education.

Objectives

– Providing practical conservation interventions aimed at contributing to the sustainable management of important ecological habitats

– Utilising and adapting proven technologies in biodiversity conservation, landscape management and climate change mitigation and adaptation.

– Source funding for biodiversity conservation interventions human resource capacity development and infrastructural development.
