530 people from neighbouring communities have been made aware of the content of the Community Area Management and Development Plans (PAG);
37 hectares of forest and mangroves have been restored;
At least 25 villagers living in community areas have been trained in patrol techniques, and a watchtower for ecological monitoring of wildlife (including birds) and anti-poaching activities has been set up in the Toho community area;
At least three annual community investment plans aim to improve the management of community areas;
120 people have benefited from micro-loans and are developing income-generating activities that are compatible with environmental protection;
One ‘soilless cultivation’ sector is being promoted and supervised by 100 producers in the two community areas and will involve vegetable production throughout the year.
