ZONAL is a non-profit, non-governmental organization founded in February 2010. Officially recognized in 2016, it became a national NGO in October 2019. ZONAL’s headquarters are located in PALA in the province of Mayo-Kebbi West. In addition to its coordination headquarters in N’Djamena, it has a regional office in Moundou in the province of Logone Occidental. This regional office extends to rural areas with focal points representing community groups in the intervention zone.
ZONAL currently has 42 active members, including 23 women and 19 men from different backgrounds across the country. The NGO’s mission is primarily focused on social and environmental risk management in Chad.
